Alitalia, Bassanini: "Cdp only invests in balanced companies"

“We can only invest in companies that are in a state of equilibrium.” This was said by the president of Cdp Franco Bassanini, responding, on the sidelines of the Infrastructure 2013 forum, to those who asked him about the possible participation of Cassa depositi e prestiti in Alitalia.

The former minister of the civil service thus distances the hypothesis of entry into the airline: "We use less than 10% for risk capital investments, the rest is used in financing". To then add: “We cannot make a non-repayable contribution. We can only finance, but there must be profitability”.
