Alitalia: Air France-KLM will drop from 25 to 5-10% of the capital after increase and bond conversion

La participation of Air France-Klm in Alitalia will drop from 25% to between 5 and 10%. The dilution will be the effect of two operations: on the one hand the capital increase of 300 million which the Franco-Dutch company has decided not to sign, on the other the bond conversion which the group decided to exploit instead. This was reported to the Radiocor agency by sources close to the dossier.

The exact size of the participation will depend on how the subscription of the capital increase and the conversion of the bonds go, which in the case of AirFrance-Klm have a value of approximately 24 million euros.

In any case, the new fee should guarantee at least one seat on the board of directors of Alitalia, where Air France-KLM currently has four representatives.
