Green light from the PDL to the new Executive led by Professor Mario Monti. “We had a long and positive meeting. We want to reach the formation of the Government and we think, in the light of this last conversation, that Professor Monti's attempt is destined to be successful”. These are the words of Angelino Alfano, secretary of the PDL, at the end of this morning's consultations with the appointed Premier.
"We discussed everything, even the program - concluded Alfano -, giving our contribution and reiterating that the responsibilities assumed in front of Europe represent the cornerstone of our programmatic commitment in favor of the unborn Monti government".
