The decision perhaps comes more for a practical matter than for a choice linked to enhancing the area but the news is that theTree of Life, the most important and spectacular symbol of the Universal Exhibition in Milan it will remain in the Expo area.
The confirmation comes from the same Expo commissioner Giuseppe Sala, 10 days after the conclusion of the event which brought over 20 million visitors to Milan, during a press conference.
"The tree of Life it will stay here because it is much more complex to take it apart and put it back together elsewhere. We are talking about a very delicate technology and the idea of moving it is very daring”.
From 2 November the area will once again be a construction site with the dismantling of the pavilions expected to be completed in spring 2016. The Tree of Life, the undisputed symbol of Expo 2015, and the pavilions Zero and Italy.
