The Made in Italy Telecontrol Forum is underway

The future of the energy sector in Italy, technological innovation and environmental protection: these are the topics that will be discussed in the two-day event organized by the Remote Control, Automation and Network Supervision Group of Anie Automazione in collaboration with Mese Frankfurt Italia. Two plenary interventions organized by Agici are also planned - At the center of the debate is the convergence between different technologies through the new paradigms of digitization and distributed intelligence

In Verona, in the historic setting of the Palazzo della Gran Guardia, the Remote Control Forum returns on 24 and 25 October: the exhibition-conference dedicated to “Made in Italy Remote Control. IoT evolution and digitization 4.0”, organized by the Remote Control, Automation and Network Supervision Group of ANIE Automazione, in collaboration with Messe Frankfurt Italia.

The protagonists on the stage of the Forum will be the experiences of companies, utilities and universities aimed at demonstrating how the use of the most modern technologies available will characterize the networks and cities of the future, becoming fundamental elements for the industrial and economic development of the country.

THE PROGRAM

The Forum is divided into three parallel sessions: the 60 papers selected were divided using the macro sector as a criterion – Networks, City, Industry – for whom the presented solution is intended and were then declined according to the scope of application (Water, Energy, ICT), up to a third level of interpretation explained in the titles of the 11 sessions of the programme.

“The Telecontrol Forum is reconfirmed again this year as the reference event for a sector full of vitality and innovation. We have combined a broad conference program rich in technological contents with two plenary events of considerable importance. Thanks also to the collaboration with Agici, we have invited authoritative stakeholders from the electricity and water world to discuss the importance of technological innovation for the networks of the future. With such a schedule - said the President of Anie Automazione Fabrizio Scovenna - the Forum can only be a networking opportunity for all representatives of the sector, who will be able to collect and share ideas, opinions and experiences to always be at the forefront in their professional dimension.

There are also two important plenary moments organized in collaboration with Agici. The Round Table “Energy scenarios in Italy to 2030: costs and benefits”, on 24 October, dedicated to the future of the energy sector in Italy e “Water cycle and innovation at the service of consumers: is enough being done?” which will close the work of the Forum on October 25 and will focus on technological innovation having as its guiding star the needs of the territory, the quality of the service and the protection of the environment. "We are happy with this first collaboration in the scientific field at the ANIE Telecontrol Forum – affirms Marco Carta, CEO of Agici. 

“In the prestigious Verona office – continues Carta – we will discuss some key issues for the development of the sector and the country with the operators of the utilities, the scientific community and the Authority. On 24 October we will deal with the issue of energy transition from an innovative perspective of measuring costs and benefits, including those, which are very important, for the national industry. On 25 October we will talk about water and in particular about how technological and digital innovation can increase the quality of the service with positive effects on consumers and on the relationship with the territories."
