It was presented today at the Ministry of Economic Development, the "export in one click" project, which will become operational after the summer. The project starts from afar: the MiSE established in December 2009 a National Strategic Table on Trade Facilitation. The action of the Strategic Table has found its operational expression in a Protocol of agreement between the Put andABI for the creation of a single system platform called International Trade Hub – Italy (ITH).
To make authorization and control procedures more efficient, many countries around the world have created an IT platform called Single Window: it is a structure that allows parties involved in trade and transport to submit standardized information and documents through a single point of access, to comply with the regulatory requirements of all import, export and transit activities; if the information is electronic, the data will be presented only once.
The concept of International Trade Hub is the extension of the Single Window concept, as it integrates, in addition to the procedural phases relating to administrative processes and in particular customs, also those of:
· international marketing support (information, research of counterparties, contracts, national and supranational concessions, financial instruments, etc.);
· support for the phases of management of the economic commitments and financial flows of the operations through relationships with banking institutions;
· support for the promotion phases of Italian products abroad;
· secure and centralized document management for all import-export operations performed, as a guarantee for public bodies and economic operators.
Our companies that trade abroad (both importing and exporting) often find themselves in difficulty in collecting the information and documentation necessary for these operations. From when the ITH becomes operational, companies will be able to have it available un “foreign trade expert system" able to:
· search for all the information held by all the databases belonging to the public system and interpret the legislation in force, on the basis of very little information (products, type of transaction with foreign countries);
· provide this information in a logical sequence consistent with the phases in which the activity abroad is carried out (marketing, business plan, administrative, financial, logistics phase);
· allow direct link (with a click – hence the slogan) from the sequence of information to the computerized operating procedures made available by the bodies involved;
· allow the "tracking" (state of progress) of their practices,
thus realizing a considerable saving of costs and time.

TRADE: POLIDORI, EXPORT IN ONE CLICK, COPERNICAN REVOLUTION FOR SMEs
The single site for internationalization was presented in preview today.
Rome, 26 July 2011 - Simplifications are on the way for small and medium-sized enterprises entering international markets. In fact, "export in one click" is starting, the project that will allow Italian entrepreneurs to knock on a single telematic door to receive all the information and documentation necessary for the various phases of the import-export process. The goal is to reduce redundant administrative procedures and unnecessary delays which are often the real bottleneck for competition in global markets as well as a source of ancillary costs: we go from 18 branches to a single portal, which will be online immediately after the summer .
The project, presented today by the Undersecretary for Foreign Trade, Catia Polidori, is the culmination of a work by the Ministry of Economic Development, together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Abi, Simest, SACE, the Customs Agency, International Italy Network and business associations. The 'task force' has in fact carried out a survey of the export difficulties encountered by entrepreneurs, especially the smallest ones, mainly linked to the multiplicity of subjects and practices to be fulfilled and has designed a simplification path by creating a single platform for trade with abroad, – the International trade hub.
"It is a Copernican revolution for our company: with a click the entrepreneur will have access to all the information and tools to internationalize his company, from market opportunities, to financial instruments up to bilateral agreements in place and targeted contacts" , explained Catia Polidori. ” Potentially we reach all the small businesses that are unable to enter international markets by themselves, helping them to export, saving time and money. A great team game between the expertise of the ministry and the practicality of the entrepreneurs that led to the birth of a virtual but at the same time extremely concrete tool that meets the need for simplicity and unity that companies have always asked for: a great act of gratitude to those who make our country great in the world every day".
