From the union of Assoelettrica and assoRinnovabili was born Future electricity. The first meeting of the new Association concluded on Friday morning.
The project is ambitious e challenger at the same time: Elettricità Futura, which will represent the entire electricity supply chain, will have to represent the companies engaged in promotion of the energy transition towards renewable sources and towards a more sustainable and competitive market.
The goal of the Association led by Simone Mori is to respond to the challenges of decarbonisation, the integration of markets and the centrality of the consumer, key themes on which Elettricità Futura will develop its activities, trying to “work out shared proposals – declared Mori – to contribute to the development of the national energy strategy and the European debate for the creation of the electricity market of the future"
Satisfied also the President of assoRenewables, Augustine King Rebaudengo, who will cover the role of vice president of the newly formed Association: “the merger confirms how the world of renewables is an integral part of the Italian energy system. I am sure that Elettricità Futura will be able to best interpret and protect the interests of the entire Italian electricity supply chain”.
