The European aircraft manufacturer has beaten its all-time high in deliveries – Won the challenge on orders with Boeing: 1.036 against 768 orders – The Airbus title runs to Paris.

Record Airbus: 635 deliveries in 2015

Airbus archive a record-breaking 2015. The European manufacturer has reached its all-time high in deliveries, settling at 635 against the 624 recorded in the previous year. On the delivery front, however, Airbus has lost the challenge with the US giant Boeing, which reached 762 aircraft delivered.

On the orders front, however, Airbus was able to do better than its main rival, reaching 1.036 net orders from 53 customers, a figure well above the 768 net orders obtained by Boeing. At the end of 2015 the total portfolio had risen to a new record of 6.787 aircraft for a value at list prices of $996,3 billion.

Satisfied the president of the company Fabrice Bregier: "This commercial and industrial performance demonstrates unequivocally that theGlobal demand for our aircraft has remained resilient. In 2015 Airbus has also laid solid foundations for the future by increasing capacity and the variety of aircraft we can offer our customers.” Meanwhile, the Airbus stock travels up by more than two percentage points in Paris.
