Air Berlin fails: for now guaranteed flights

The German airline Air Berlin is bankrupt. The crash is determined by the fact that Etihad, its majority shareholder, no longer has the resources available to finance it.

For the moment, however, Air Berlin will be able to continue flying because the German government will guarantee it a loan of 150 million euros to temporarily continue its activity. This was assured by the Minister of Economy of the Federal Government.

Air Berlini has openly stated that, without Etihad funds, it has no chance of a future.
