Agri-food, the fifth call for tenders in favor of supply chain contracts has been published: up to 2 billion from Mipaaf, CDP and banks

Support the national agro-industrial and financial policies investment programs in favor of strategic supply chains. This is the objective of the agreement signed today, Wednesday 21 September, by Ministry of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies e Cassa Depositi e Prestiti which governs the granting of subsidized loans - from the "Revolving Fund for the support of businesses and research investments" (FRI) - within the framework of the fifth tender promoted by the Ministry in favor of supply chain agreements in the agro-food and agro-energy sector. The total resources could reach a total value of about 2 billion.

They can submit funding applications companies operating in the production, transformation and marketing of agricultural and agri-food products that sign a supply chain agreement, in a multi-regional context, sustainable from an environmental point of view and innovative from a technological point of view. There is time to send requests until the 24 October.

The fifth call for tenders for agri-food supply chain contracts

In detail, explains a note, the initiative provides for a direct contribution granted by Mipaaf using up to around 800 million of the resources of the Complementary Fund to the National Plan for Recovery and Resilience (PNRR). To these resources are added i subsidized loans (fixed rate of 0,5% per year) up to 600 million granted by the Cassa from the FRI, alongside loans of the same amount and duration (up to 15 years) disbursed by the banking system at market conditions.

The interventions eligible for the subsidies concern, in particular, investments in tangible and intangible assets in farms, in the sector of transformation and marketing of agricultural products, in the participation of producers in quality schemes, in the promotion of agricultural products and in research and development in the agricultural sector.

In addition, programs with expenditures of between 4 and 50 million may be admitted to the subsidies.

Collaboration between CDP e MIPAAF it has already made it possible to stipulate over 350 loan agreements on previous tenders, for an amount of approximately 280 million in subsidized loans in favor of over 340 companies active in the sector.
