More than 2.400 Italians have received a text message from the Revenue Agency advising them to verify the crediting of a tax refund. This is one of the advantages you get by communicating your telephone number to the tax authorities in the reserved area of the Agency's online services. So far - as stated in a note from the Revenue - about 400 thousand taxpayers have made this choice.
From now on, it will be easier for them to remember deadlines, keep up with payments and keep the arrival of a refund under control, thanks to a personalized text message, sent in good time, which will make it possible to avoid errors and forgetfulness. The service, which started at the end of October, is free.
HOW TO ACCESS
Opening this direct line with the tax authorities is simple. In fact, if you are already registered with Fisconline, just enter your mobile phone number in the authenticated area, after having read the information.
Those who have not yet registered with the Agency's telematic services can ask for login credentials on the site, indicating the declaration model used in 2014 (730, Unico Pf or none) and the total income. Once registration is complete, the system instantly provides the first 4 digits of the pin, while the last 6, for security reasons, will be sent by post, together with the password, within 15 days. Alternatively, it is possible to register and access through a National Services Card (CNS).
Once the credentials have been obtained, simply log in, provide the mobile number and validate it through a "disposable" code that will be sent via text message. The messages are easily recognizable as they come from the sender "Ag.Intrate".
THE SMS DEPARTING IN DECEMBER
“The annual registration fee on his lease expires in December. We remind you that you have 30 days from the start of the new annuity for payment”. With this brief message, the Agency reminds landlords who are natural persons who have stipulated a multi-year contract and opted for the payment of the registration tax year by year, that they have thirty days to pay the amount due.

But the text messages from the tax authorities are also used for something else. Other text messages inform the taxpayer that the tax authorities are disbursing the expected refund: “The Agenzia delle Entrate is disbursing its refund to the current account communicated. Check the actual credit shortly”.
Those who have delegated a Caf or an intermediary to make payments with the F24 form, on the other hand, will receive a payment confirmation message received and registered by the Revenue Agency.
