Marconi airport in Bologna exceeds altitude 700 thousand passengers in the month of August, a figure which represents an increase of 2,1% compared to the same month in 2014 and is configured as the best month ever in history of the Emilian airport.
The growth was mainly determined by international flights, whose passengers represent 77,4% of the total (545.405 against 159.435 of those on domestic flights).
According to reports from the airport itself, in August the favorite destinations would have been the great European capitals. In fact, among the top ten cities in the ranking, only two are Italian: Palermo and Catania. On the podium London, Paris and Barcelona.
Since the beginning of the year the Bologna airport has exceeded i 4,5 million passengers overall, with a growth of 2,4% over the same period of 2014.
