Bologna Airport, Atlantia acquires 29%

Atlantia acquired 29,38% of the share capital of Aeroporto Guglielmo Marconi Spa, a company listed on the Stock Exchange and concessionaire for the management of Bologna airport. This was announced by the infrastructure holding company in a press release, explaining that it will acquire 11,53% of the company's capital from Italian Airports SARL at 15,50 euros per share for a total of 64,6 million and from San Lazzaro Investments Spain 17,85% at 15,50 euro per share, for a total of 99,9 million.

The total investment for Atlantia will therefore be approximately 164,5 million. The agreements also provide for "a mechanism for partial integration of the price if within 18 months the Atlantia group promotes a public purchase or exchange offer on the stock at a price higher than the agreed price, an eventuality not currently being studied", reads the press release. .

"Although of a purely financial nature, our entry into the capital of Bologna Airport recognizes the great development potential of the airport", commented the CEO of Atlantia, Giovanni Castellucci.
