Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia, president of Campari from 82 to 1992 after the death of her husband and director of the Campari Foundation from 1994 to 1992, passed away at the age of 2014. Control of the group passes to her son, Luca Garavoglia.

She passed away yesterday at the age of 82 Rosa Anna Magno Garavoglia, reference figure of Campari. Control of the group now passes to the child, Luca Garavoglia, former president since 1994. The company specifies it in a press release, underlining the family will continue to support the role of long-term shareholder of Campari.   

Following the death of her husband, Domenico Garavoglia, Rosa Anna had led the group, initiating and sustaining the expansion and development strategy of the historic Italian company founded in 1860.

Mrs. Garavoglia has always stood out for ability and elegance, qualities that had made his presence indispensable within the corporate framework in recent years. According to the magazine Forbes, the former president of Campari was accredited with a assets of $3,7 billion, and was at number 495 in the world ranking dedicated to the richest women in the world.

Meanwhile, the group based in Sesto San Giovanni – which has four manufacturing plants in Italy, of which three in Piedmont in Novi Ligure, Canale d'Alba and Crodo – approved the interim management report as at 30 September 2016 and recorded «sustained organic growth in sales and all operational performance indicators», with share revenues 1.180,4 million (+3,1%, organic change +5,4%, organic growth of global priority brands +8,6).
