Acri, Guzzetti: banking foundations have nothing to do with speculation

The president of the Association of foundations and savings banks assures that the affiliates have not acquired the shares of the investee banks overdraft - "Indeed, we must ensure that it never happens".

In the last few days, Piazza Affari has been attacked by speculation, but foundations of banking origin have nothing to do with the acquisition of uncovered securities. These are the words of Giuseppe Guzzetti, president of ACRI, who thus denied some press rumors: "Regarding the news that appeared in some newspapers according to which the foundations are involved in the uncovered purchase operations of securities of the investee banks, ACRI denies that there are foundations involved, directly or indirectly, in similar operations". On the contrary, Guzzetti underlined how Acri urges "associated foundations to ensure that their banking titles are not used for speculative transactions".
