Acres: one hundred candles and a stamp

The state celebrates XNUMXth birthday of Acre with a new one 60 cent stamp, issued just today. Present at the presentation were, among others, the president of ACRI Giuseppe Guzzetti, the president and CEO of the State Mint Maurizio Prato and the president of Poste Italiane Giovanni Ialongo.

The stamp depicts the image that has always represented the Association of Banking Foundations and Savings Banks: a piggy bank, framed by the colors of the Italian flag

“We know how difficult it is to save today – he said Guzzetti – and we also know how important it is to safeguard savings, the result of so many sacrifices, and enhance them. Foundations of banking origin are non-profit entities and important institutional investors, who are committed to enhancing the savings that their communities have accumulated in the past, using it appropriately to draw profits to be donated to philanthropic activities".

As for the savings banks, “they are banks particularly attentive to the development of the areas in which they operate. Both the Foundations and the Casse di Risparmio Spa have to do with a precise idea of savings: the one that its correct use can become a wealth that is useful to everyone, because it is the necessary basis for relaunching development”, concluded Guzzetti.
