Dario Corbetta was appointed by the board of directors, which met on 6 November, Deputy Director of Cepra, the Acimall Promotional Centre. The new position rewards the skills and long experience of the Milanese manager, who arrived in the Confindustria association which represents the Italian woodworking technology manufacturers in 1991, after an experience in Ucimu-Sistemi per produc- tion and in multinational companies, such as Continental and 3M.
In his career in Acimall he has always had responsibility for the promotion of the "made in Italy" of the sector in the world, as well as the task of managing the research office of the association. Since 2010 he has been in charge, as marketing manager, of Xylexpo, the international biennial of which the Italian association is the organiser. Corbetta – born in 1958, married, two children – after graduating in mechanical engineering he obtained a master's degree in business management at the Milan Polytechnic.
