ACEA supports the anti Covid-19 vaccination plan

ACEA ready to support the vaccination plan. The Roman multi-utility has made itself available to the institutions to make its contribution to the acceleration of the anti-Covid-19 vaccination plan, coordinated by the Ministry of Health, making available two corporate offices in the capital in which it is possible to create vaccination hubs that would allow to carry out administrations to the civilian population, as well as to employees, for a total of about 2000 doses per day.

Il Congress Center "La Fornace" it is located in the Tor di Valle area, easily reachable from the Grande Raccordo Anulare and from the center of Rome. The area made available to the regional health facilities is approximately 1700 mXNUMX and the vaccination capacity could reach up to 1000 doses per day.

Furthermore, ACEA is setting up at the “Car park” company in piazzale Ostiense a second hub for vaccinations which will be completed by the end of April. The area dedicated to administrations will be smaller but with operations 7 days a week and with shifts scheduled for 7, 12 or even 16 hours, it will allow up to 1000 doses per day.

The multi-utility is equipping the aforementioned areas to receive and administer all types of vaccine currently available in Italy, including Pfizer-Biontech, which provides for a stringent dose storage protocol, all thanks to the availability of special refrigerators that allow you to store the doses while maintaining storage temperatures even down to -90°, thus ensuring management of the cold chain.

Since the beginning of the health emergency, ACEA has implemented concrete actions to guarantee the safety of its employees and citizens and at the same time maintain full operational efficiency. These include, for example, the more than 5000 serological tests, swabs and rapid salivary tests carried out as part of health and safety prevention activities in the workplace.

Furthermore, ACEA has insured over 15 thousand employees and family members with a specific Covid policy. All this has allowed us to obtain the certification “Biosafety Trust” (RINA), in recognition of the actions implemented in the management of infection risk, including that of Covid-19.
