Acea: new acquisitions for 24 million

The Roman multiservice has signed the preliminary contracts for 100% of Idrolatina, for twenty-two million euros – 19,2% of Geal and 100% of Severn Trent Italia have also been purchased.

New acquisitions for Thatas part of the growth strategy in the water sector. In fact, the Roman multiutility has signed the preliminary contracts for the acquisition of 100% of Idrolatina, which in turn holds a 49% stake in Acqualatina, from the Veolia group for a consideration of 22 million euros. Also from the Veolia group, Acea acquired 19,2% of the Acquedotti Lucchesi – Geal business management at a price of 2 million.

At the moment Acea already holds 28,8% of Geal through Crea SpA, therefore the investment of the Roman multi-utility in Geal increases to 48%.

Acea also acquired 100% of Severn Trent Italia from the Severn Trent group of 100% of Severn Trent Italia and, indirectly, the 64% stake in Umbriadue Servizi Idrici and 80% in Iseco. The purchase price, in this case, is 0,4 million: thanks to this transaction, Acea's shareholding in Umbriadue will rise to 98%.
