Acea: Marino requests forfeiture of the Board

The mayor of Rome has asked the Acea shareholders' meeting to reduce the number of members of the multiservice Board of Directors from 9 to 7, thus making the current board decay - In this way, according to Marino, the company would save 30% of costs compared to today.

Ignazio Marino requests the reduction of the members of the Acea board of directors and, consequently, the "forfeiture of the entire board". The mayor of Rome has addressed the request to reduce the members of the Board of Directors from 9 to 7 at the shareholders' meeting of the multiservice company 51% controlled by the Municipality of Rome.

"Any hypothesis of refreshment - clarified the mayor -, where never encamped, can be easily opposed by Acea due to the implicit revocation also assisted by multiple and robust reasons of just cause". With the forfeiture of the current board and the reduction in the number of its members, Acea will save, according to Marino, about 30% of the costs compared to today.
