Acea lands in Liguria, partnership with Rivieracqua

Through Acea Molise, a wholly-owned subsidiary, Acea has won the tender from the Province of Imperia for the Selection of the private partner of Rivieraacqua, a company that operates in the integrated water service in the area. This will lead to the creaction of a mixed company public-private partnership, where Acea will hold 48% of the shares. The new entity will manage the Integrated Water Service (Yes) in the Optimal Territorial Area (Ato) West of the Province of Imperia, with a concession valid until 2042.

The numbers of the race

The tender, with an estimated value of over a billion euros, involves the management of a large infrastructure network: approximately 2.000 km of water network and 1.000 km of sewerage network. The service will affect 155 thousand users, corresponding to 210 thousand inhabitants, distributed in 43 municipalities, of which 40 in the province of Imperia and 3 in that of Savona.
