The Roman multi-utility has completed the acquisition of the remaining 30% of SIMAM, a company specializing in services related to the sectors of water treatment, environmental remediation, waste brokerage and energy from renewable sources.

That, the Roman multiutility, has perfected theacquisition of the remaining 30% of SIMAM (Servizi Industriali Manageriali Ambientali), a Senigallia company specialized in the engineering and construction and management of water and waste treatment plants, in environmental interventions and reclamation, with integrated solutions with a high technological content.

The total amount of the transaction is equal to 30 million euros

Il economic value of the transaction, in terms of enterprise value for 100% of the company, is
equal to 30 million. Acea had aacquired 70% of the company's capital in May 2020.

Over the last three years, the operation has allowed Acea to consolidate and expand its know-how in the management of its assets, also bringing value through the application of new technologies in the field of Design and Project Management. With the acquisition of Simam, the Roman multiutility has strengthened its position ability in the construction and maintenance of infrastructure, for an increasingly sustainable, innovative and efficient management of services related to your business. Simam was founded over 25 years ago by Tommaso Rossi who had retained 30% stake in the company to date.
