ABI-Government agreement for credit to SMEs

Abi, the government and businesses have signed a new agreement for credit to SMEs. The agreement was signed by the Minister of Economic Development, Corrado Passera, and the Deputy Minister of Economy, Vittorio Grilli, on behalf of the Executive. The goal is to "ensure the availability of adequate financial resources for businesses – reads a note from the ABI – which, despite registering tensions, nonetheless present positive economic prospects”. Hence the action to "create the conditions for overcoming the current critical situations and make it easier to ferry companies towards a desired inversion of the economic cycle".

Not only: "Over the next two months there is a commitment to define new agreements” with the intention of “promoting financing for the execution of new orders, encouraging investment projects and the consolidation of liabilities; to facilitate the rapid disinvestment of the credits of the companies towards the Public Administration, through the certification of the credits in order to qualify them as certain and collectible, or through other forms of advance of these credits; enhance the role of Confidi and public guarantee funds for the purpose of expanding the possibilities for SMEs to access credit".
