The German company Per Germany Handels GmbH, having been dismissed by the delegated judge as to suspend the procedure for the award and sale of the Stefana business branch via Bologna di Nave (Bs), today filed a complaint with the Court of Brescia for the cancellation of the auction due to procedural defects assigned to Duferco.
The German company Per Germany Handels Gmbh is the European subsidiary of the Iranian group SIS CO (Sepahan Industrial Steel Co. www.payamsanatco.com ) which has been operating since 2005 and which exports iron and steel products in basic steel (billets, round ca and IPE) produced in Iran as well as other products that it currently sells on the domestic market.
The presentation of the complaint to the Court demonstrates the seriousness of the intentions of the foreign investors and of their industrial plan which envisages the complete recovery of the production activity and the reactivation of the entire industrial plant with all the 139 employees currently employed.
The business plan provides for the reactivation of the two existing production plants for the production of beams, laminates and wire rod as well as the production of wire rod derivatives (mesh and pylons) on existing plants. In addition, it is planned to develop, through appropriate investments, a new production of quality steel rods.
