Bank loan disbursements are growing. In the first eight months of 2015 i business financing they posted a 15,9% year-on-year increase. This was announced by the report of theAbi. As for the new disbursements of mortgages for the purchase of properties, the growth over the same period of 2014 was 86,1%. The new operations of Consumer credit, on the other hand, marked an increase of 27,2%.
The data on mortgages, therefore, highlight the strong recovery of the market. In absolute terms, the amount of new disbursements rose to 28,920 billion euros, a figure higher than those recorded in both 2012 and 2013. The incidence of subrogations on the total of new loans was equal in the first 8 months of 2015 , at about 29%.
In the first eight months of 2015, variable-rate mortgages accounted for 48,3% of total new disbursements; in recent months there has been a sharp increase in fixed-rate mortgages which exceeded 2015% of new disbursements in August 60, down from less than 20% twelve months earlier.
