This is what emerges from the monthly ABI report in May: the riskiness of loans has grown further with the increase in gross bank non-performing loans to 164,6 billion in March.

The riskiness of loans in Italy, due to the crisis and its effects, increased further with gross bad debts increasing in March to 164,6 billion, up by 2,6 billion compared to February and by around 33,6 billion compared to 130,9 billion at the end of March 2013, marking an annual increase of approximately 25,7%.

This is what emerges from the monthly ABI report in May. The ratio of gross bad loans to loans was 8,6% in March (6,6% a year earlier and 2,8% at the end of 2007, before the start of the crisis), a value which reaches 14,6% for small economic operators (12,3% in March 2013), 14% for companies (10,3% a year earlier) and 6,4% for families (5,8%).
