A2A launches its project of Smart Working. The company has in fact defined the details of the innovative working method which allows, for one day a week, to work from home or from a place other than one's office using the company equipment necessary to carry out the work activity.
The pilot project is reserved for employees with permanent employment contracts for at least one year and will involve approx 300 employees of A2A Spa and A2A Energia, located in 18 Group offices, which will be able to experiment for six months with this new work system that combines flexibility and innovation.
Employees who join the Smart Working project will observe the same working hours as set out in the employment contract: "Smart Working - explains the CEO of the group Valerio Camerano – is another concrete piece of the new corporate course which aims to design a more modern organizational and cultural model for the future of A2A, in line with the process of transformation and change we are carrying out".
According to Camerano, it is “a small revolution that can allow for a better balance of time between the professional and private spheres, improving the quality of life of employees and their professional satisfaction. Smart Working also underlines the importance of working towards objectives and, from a green perspective, can reduce the environmental impact on the territories involved in terms of travel reduction and use of infrastructure."
The possible advantages of the project will be evaluated during these first months, to identify possible areas for improvement, and to consider the hypothesis of extending this method of work, in the future, to other areas as well.
