The Ffoundation of the Civic Museums of Venice gave birth to MUVE Academy, an innovative project that proposes an educational offer linked to the heritage of the Venetian Civic Museums and the creation of a network of relationships with institutions, research bodies and universities.
With September 2023 begins a season full of training courses starting from the "Murano glass classes”, born thanks to the synergy between MUVE Academy and theAbate Zanetti Institute of Murano. These are re courses (basic level) where you can learn the techniques of blown glass processing, such as casting, glass fusing and processing a fire.
In addition to following the training offer, there are two other courses, one related to fabrics and the second "Making interculture with heritage education. Practical learning community laboratory”, edited by Muve Education. While in November she will open the already sold-out course of “East-West Calligraphy. Calligraphy review between East and West”, a Masterclass dedicated to handwriting as part of the calligraphy review organized by the Correr Museum Library.
Who is the training offer aimed at?
It is mainly aimed at those who want to develop their knowledge and skills in the historical, artistic, museum and management fields. It's a matter of part time courses, workshop, conferences, WORKSHOPS practical and Master designed for young professionals, students and culture and art enthusiasts, taught by internationally renowned teachers and industry experts. More exactly, the courses focus on topics such as conservation of cultural heritage, la art history, museum management and disclosure of Venetian historical-artistic heritage, together with the preservation, conservation and innovation of the cultural heritage and the craftsmanship that distinguishes the Made in Italy.
MUVE Academy therefore represents an organic approach, which combines culture, fformation and innovation, creating a bridge between the academic world and that of museums and cultural institutions.
