Poste Vita receives the "Best Pension Fund Governance" award

It was awarded by the British magazine Capital Finance International

Poste Vita, the insurance company of the Poste Italiane Group, received from the British magazine Capital Finance International the “Best Pension Fund Governance” 2019 award for having combined the principles better than the others Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) with the performance required by investors.

Poste Vita is today the largest life company in Italy, with over 123 billion euros of assets under management and more than 4 million customers. Furthermore, last February, the Poste Italiane insurance company adhered to the Principles for Responsible Investments (PRI) sponsored by the United Nations.

Cfi underlines that "Poste Vita, in accordance with the PRI promoted by the United Nations, evaluates the potential impacts of ESG in all areas of its investment activity, protecting the company from risk and contributing to the country's economic growth and sustainable development" . Poste Vita, adds the CFI jury, "has developed an overall code of ethics that has enabled it to achieve the highest standards of corporate conduct".

CFI's content contributors include the World Bank, the Organization for Co-operation and Development in Europe, the United Nations Environment Program Finance Initiative, the European Commission as well as other international organizations, including central banks, research institutes, universities and consulting firm.
