Today, Tuesday 20 February, the Fiat Historic Center in Turin, located in via Chiabrera 20, opened its doors to the public for the exhibition "University, Polytechnic and Piedmontese aeronautical industry: from origins to space“. The exhibition, organized by Amma Foundation, concludes the celebrations of the centenary of the Italian Air Force and is part of the Turin Capital of Business Culture 2024 initiatives.

The exhibition will remain open until March 26, 2024 with the following clockwise:

  • Sunday and Monday 10am – 17pm
  • Tuesday 10 - 19

Stefano Serra, president of the Foundation, underlined the importance of this event: “We have created an exhibition project between historical legacy and a look to the future, with the aim of telling a journey that develops over a period of 115 years, during which Turin and its scientific and productive fabric have had and continue to have a leading role. A role that today makes it the capital of aerospace, thanks to what happens daily in the factories of its territory, capable of driving the development of the entire Italian aeronautical and aerospace industry, continuing the work begun over a century ago".

“Created in 2021 to safeguard the industrial heritage built over over 100 years of life – he added – the Amma Foundation has as its primary aim the promotion of initiatives of this kind, capable of enhancing Piedmont's industrial policies and stimulating their development, working alongside economic, political, social and cultural institutions and organisations".
