Thursday September 26st, the prestigious Palazzo Bevilacqua in Bologna will host the Cersaie Evening, an event which, for the 28th consecutive year, will award the Confindustria Ceramica Distributor Awards. These awards celebrate the four international distributors who have distinguished themselves for their commitment and their excellent relations with the Italian ceramic industry.
In conjunction with the Cersaie Evening, the International Exhibition of Ceramics for Architecture and Bathroom Furnishings will take place in Bologna from the 23 to the 27 September 2024. This event offers an unmissable platform to discover the latest trends and innovations in the field of surfaces, bathroom furniture and finishes for architectural space. During these days, companies from all over the world will have the opportunity to meet international professionals and reveal the novelties of the sector.
Confindustria Ceramica Distributor Awards: who are the winners?
The jury, composed of entrepreneurs and managers of the Italian ceramic sector, selected the Winners based on criteria such as loyalty to the Italian product, duration of the activity, turnover, competence, professionalism, solvency and commercial correctness. The winners were also chosen for the significant investments made in the promotion and use of “Made in Italy” ceramic tiles.
'SItaly, the prize will go to Baiano Brothers Srl – Baiano Quarto House (NA), a company founded in 1965 with a showroom of over 3.000 square meters and 35 employees. This company stands out for a percentage of 95% of sales of Italian ceramics. The award will be collected by the founder Franco Baiano.
For the France, two distributors were awarded ex aequo: Bob Carrelage of Hyères e Forgiarini Sas of Kogenheim. Bob Carrelage, with 7 stores, 50 employees and an annual turnover of 20 million euros, obtains 70% of its sales from Italian ceramics. Forgiarini Sas, with 4 showrooms, 70 employees and a turnover of over 14 million euros, achieves a percentage of 78% of sales from Italian ceramics. The awards will be collected by Franck Lapointe, founder and director of Bob Carrelage, and Jerome Forgiarini, president and sales director of Forgiarini Sas.
For the Germany, the prize will be awarded to Unternehmensgruppe Aug. Hohne Sohne Harry's Fliesenmaerkte of Hamburg. With 118 years of activity, 105 employees and a turnover of 24 million euros, the company obtains 43% of its sales from Italian tiles. The award will be collected by Daniel Driessen, the company's sales manager.
'SAustria, the recognition will go to Beinkofer GesmbH & Co. KG in Linz, which celebrates its centenary in 2024. With 105 employees and a total turnover of 37 million euros, the company reaches 62,5% of Italian ceramic sales. The awards will be collected by Clemens and Pia Beinkofer.
