Ryanair cancels 2 flights by October

The airline has decided to cancel 40-50 flights a day for the next 6 weeks – a total of 2 fewer flights by October – to improve punctuality, which has dropped from 90 to less than 80%.

Delays and strikes by air traffic controllers, bad weather and holidays for pilots and crews: according to Ryanair, these are the causes that have worsened the punctuality of its flights.

To get back on track in the interests of travellers, the company has taken a drastic decision: to cancel 40 to 50 flights a day for the next 6 weeks. A total of 2 flights will therefore be canceled by October in the hope of quickly recovering the lost punctuality.

But what will happen to those who have already booked and risk not leaving? Ryanair assures customers will be offered "alternative flights or full refunds".
