In retail sector, thanks to its innovative solutions, PostePay has already won over 20 million customers and its flagship product, the Postepay Evolution card, is now used by over 10 million Italians. PostePay payment services, such as automatic top-up (the feature to always have funds available on prepaid cards) and P2P (the service that allows the exchange of money in real time between customers of the PostePay community with 1,5 billion euros of transactions in 2024), are accessible from the Poste Italiane App, through which customers can enjoy safe and fast check-out experiences. Vast opportunities also in the business sector, where PostePay offers a complete and omnichannel range of acquiring services, both for online collection through the PostePay proprietary check-out solution and the VPOS, and on the move and in-store through the Postepay SmartPOS: the ideal device for every business with collections credited in a single day, which thanks to a simple and distinctive user experience, is also a digital services platform that supports business growth.
The new feature presented today at the Netcomm Forum, a reference showcase for e-commerce and the Italian digital world, is the agreement stipulated between PostePay and Scalapay, which combines PostePay's leadership in digital payments with that of Scalapay in "Buy now pay later" and which will give life to a simple and innovative payment deferral service, which responds to the growing need for flexibility by retail customers for purchases, including in-store. The new service, in fact, will allow affiliated merchants to offer their customers the possibility of paying for purchases made in-store in 3 or 4 installments, in a simple, immediate manner and in just a few clicks, via SmartPOS Postepay.
In addition to digital payment solutions, today Postepay is an ecosystem of integrated services that include telephony (4,8 million mobile, fixed and fiber lines) and energy, with approximately 710 thousand contracts just two years after the launch of the gas and electricity offer.
