“I am pleased to pass the presidency baton to Marco Gay – he said upon leaving Marsiaj -. In recent years we have worked very well together, pursuing the same socio-economic development objectives of our territory, through sustainable and inclusive growth of associated companies. I wish him and his very capable team of vice-presidents my best wishes for their success."

Gay, immediately after the election he thanked the now ex-president “for the work of the last four years, which were certainly complex. I am and are aware that the current situation presents equally concrete difficulties: my thoughts are with entrepreneurs in difficulty and the people who work with them, and with the utmost commitment we will do our part, together with all the institutions to support them. Industry and innovation – says Gay – are an indissoluble combination for the economic and social growth and development of our territory. Because the Turin industry has always put its wealth of ingenuity and knowledge at the service of the country, bringing it to the world."
