From the 25 27 April, Roma will host the Jubilee of Adolescents, an event that will see the participation of over 100 thousand young pilgrims. To ensure that everyone has access to water drinking During the event, Acea launched a series of initiatives.
Acea to distribute water during the Jubilee of Adolescents
The company will distribute approximately 150 thousand liters of water to the participants, thanks to the use of nine tankers positioned in strategic points near the main locations of the event. The tankers will be easily identifiable thanks to sails with the Acea logo and inflatable balloons that will signal their presence even from a distance.
Furthermore, at the water distribution points, there will be signs with QR Code to download theWater app, created by Acea. This app allows you to locate over 3.500 water points located throughout the city, including fountains and Water Houses, to allow anyone to easily find a source of drinking water.
The initiative also includes the distribution of about 10 thousand water bottles branded with the Acea logo. Each water bottle is equipped with a QR Code that provides information on the educational program for water saving in Italian schools.
The main distribution points of the water will be:
- Friday April 25th, at the Basilica of SS. Pietro e Paolo all’Eur, during the “Via Lucis Prayer”.
- Saturday April 26th, at the Circus Maximus, during a concert.
- Sunday April 27, near St. Peter's Square, in view of the beatification mass of Carlo Acutis.
