The agreement includes several chapters ranging from hiring to active labor policies on which there will be over 9.000 interventions.

Short work week and smart working: what's new
Among the most anticipated innovations is the experimentation of the five-day work week in post offices in metropolitan areas, a measure aimed at improving the work-life balance for employees.
On the front of smart working, the company and unions are discussing an extension to maintain the flexibility introduced during the pandemic. A new meeting is scheduled in the coming days to define the details.
Allowances: New daily amounts for staff
The agreement also provides for the introduction of a “relationship allowance” as established by Article 77 of the National Collective Labor Agreement. The daily amounts will vary based on the role:
- 5,50 euros for Front End Operators (Ofe)
- 6 euros for Front End and Back Office Sales Supervisors (Scf and Scb)
- 9 euros for Sorting Center Managers (Scm)
Tensions between the unions
Despite the importance of the agreement, not all unions are satisfied. The Cgil and Uil have not signed the agreement, criticizing its timing and the lack of involvement of the RSU. Nicola Di Ceglie (Slc Cgil) defined the agreement as “a serious signal”, while Claudio Solfaroli (UilPoste) spoke of a “violation of trade union pluralism”.
The absence of two trade unions could create divisions and complicate the implementation of the plan, which will now be submitted to the judgement of the workers in the assemblies of the next few days.
