According to data released by the Ministry of Economic Development, between January and June, Italian exports of goods grew by +7,6% compared to the same period of 2016: exports from the islands grow by as much as 36%, with remarkable results also recorded in the North and Centre, while the contribution offered by the southern regions is less substantial (+0,5%).
The growth recorded is widespread for all industrial groupings, consumer goods, durables and intermediates, and is particularly marked in the pharmaceutical sector, as well as in the oil and automotive sectors. Between markets, China is confirmed as the most dynamic destination (+26%), followed by Russia, which is recovering strongly (+23%).
