Intesa Sanpaolo, at the end of the Board of Directors meetings of the Group's companies operating in asset management and their parent companies, announced a strategic reorganization in the activities of savings managementThe reorganization involves Eurizon Capital SGR, Epsilon SGR and Fideuram Asset Management SGR, with the aim of Strengthen Wealth Management activities of the Group, making the operations of the divisions involved more efficient.
Eurizon Capital SGR the only centre of excellence for Italian funds
Eurizon Capital SGR, led by the CEO and General Manager Maria Luisa Gota, becomes the new center of excellence for Italian funds, including alternative funds. In particular, Eurizon will assume the role of Investment Center for Banca dei Territori and for the International Banks Division. The company will continue to represent the asset management platform for extra captive development, both in Italy and abroad.

Fideuram establishes a dedicated Investment Center

Intesa: the reorganization in detail
In detail, the reorganisation will see Fideuram acquire the 100% of Fideuram Asset Management SGR, acquiring the 0,48% stake held by Banca Finnat Euramerica. Subsequently, Fideuram Asset Management SGR will split its activities: will transfer the Collective Management branch at Eurizon, including Italian funds (including alternative ones) and some delegations of Fideuram Asset Management Ireland, while will sell the remaining assets to Fideuram not assigned to Eurizon, concerning Asset Management activities, delegations on Impact Funds and Service Funds, management of third-party investment houses in the multi-manager sector and advisory activities. After the split, Fideuram Asset Management SGR will stop operations.
In parallel, Eurizon Capital SGR to transfer GP Private branch to Fideuram, including some asset management, and will incorporate Epsilon SGR.
All mergers and demergers, which are tax neutral and have no impact on Intesa Sanpaolo's consolidated accounts, will be completed by Q2025 XNUMX.
