Intesa Sanpaolo launched the “Crescibusiness let's design sustainable” initiative to enhance the small businesses e VAT matches of commerce, crafts, personal services, catering and tourism. The goal is to reward good practice within Esg e promote sustainability as a factor of growth and development for companies, in line with the Pnrr and with the Industrial Plan of the Group led by Carlo Messina.
Intesa calculates that more than 10,000 companies belong to this type of company 4 million realities (of which over 800.000 Intesa Sanpaolo customers) equal to 95% of Italian companies, with fewer than 10 employees and up to 2,5 million in turnover. With "Crescibusiness we design sustainably" we want to "bring out the many companies that, even if smaller in size, have been able to adopt a path aimed at improving their sustainability profile" says a note.

“Crescibusiness Progettiamo Sostenibile” is part of the broader “Crescibusiness” national plan of Intesa Sanpaolo, which makes available 5 billion euros for development interventions towards digitalisation, sustainability and innovation in favor of small tourism, trade and craft companies.
Here's how to apply. The required parameters
Among the self-nominations that will arrive by 31/05/2024 to the dedicated area in place of Intesa Sanpaolo will be selected the most attentive companies to some ESG parameters such as: the reduction in the use of natural resources and waste, the share of female presence, including in managerial positions, the hours of training for employees, customer satisfaction, the ability to enhance the excellence of the territory , also in the micro-supply chain sector.
Thanks to the contribution of businesses prestigious - Cerved, Intrum, Regalgrid with the collaboration of Monitor Deloitte and the support of Visa - the companies that participate in the "CrescibusinessProgettiamo Sostenibile" program will be included in a growth path in the three ESG areas - environmental, social and governance - as well as to benefit from information activities and workshops, a statement said. Dedicated products such as the new line of S-Loan Progetti Green investment solutions are also designed for them, to plan and implement investments in sustainability, also supported by the Guarantee Fund.
