The French president said this in response to Fitch's decision to maintain triple A with a negative outlook on French debt: "We operate only in the interest of France".

The President Francois Holland he said today that France does not determine the yours "policy according to a rating agency”, but "in relation to interests of France“, in response to the decision by Fitch to keep the triple A with outlook negative about French debt.

"We heard what is said, but not we determine ours policy on an agency particular, we choose ours policy in relation to the interests of France and the French,” he ha said the President of the French Republic to reporters at the end of European summit in Brussels.
