Il Hera Group, among the main Italian multi-utilities, national leader and in the European top ten in the environmental sector, through the subsidiary ACR of Reggiani Albertino (ACR Reggiani) is awarded the tender called by Nucleco of the Sogin Group (Italian state company responsible for the dismantling of Italian nuclear plants and the management and safety of waste produced by industrial, research and nuclear medicine activities), for support work for the recovery and treatment activities of the "internals", the components present inside the vessel at the Sogin Garigliano nuclear power plant (Caserta). In the reactor building and in the external areas of the controlled zone of the plant, ACR Reggiani will take charge of the engineering design and the supply of cutting-edge machines and equipment necessary for cutting, handling and removal of the components.

Twelve national and international operators qualified for the contract were invited to the tender: ACR Reggiani, one of the major Italian companies in the sector of remediation of contaminated sites, treatment of industrial waste and decommissioning of plants, was awarded the contract.
