Promote, enhance and disseminate data protection among companies cyber security risks. It is the objective of the three-year agreement signed by Confindustria e Generali Italyaware of these needs. If on the one hand the pandemic has accelerated the digital transformation processes of companies to facilitate remote working, on the other hand there has been an increase in scams and fake news. Therefore, IT security, also in the light of growing geopolitical tensions, plays an increasingly important role both on a personal and corporate level.

In detail, the partnership provides for the development of Cyber ​​Index, the report on the cyber state of Italian companies, which will be presented at the end of the year. The objective is to highlight the level of knowledge of cyber risks within corporate organisations, the relative methods of approaching the management of such risks and the publication and sharing of the results achieved.

By completing a questionnaire, defined by Generali Italia with the support of industry experts, and Confindustria administering the survey to its members, the analyzed data will be illustrated in the Cyber ​​Index. The report will be updated annually, thus providing a detailed picture of the state of digital security of Italian companies.

Furthermore, with a view to increasing knowledge on cyber security and cyber attacks for companies, they are planned training sessions and workshops on a territorial basis. The experts of Generali Italia and the agency network will involve, with their valuable consultancy, the companies associated with Confindustria, to ensure greater awareness of the risks associated with growing digitization and to protect companies from cybercrime.
