Fourteen people from Tunisia they begin their work experience in Trenitalia (Italian FS Group) after completing a professional training path built in the North African country. It is one of the first results of the projects developed by the FS Group within the Mattei plan, presented on Tuesday 21 July during the “Welcome to Italy – Mattei Tunisia Plan” ceremony, hosted at the FS headquarters in Villa Patrizi in Rome.
The project was born with the aim of integrating skills and creating job opportunities between the two shores of the Mediterranean, through training courses and the transfer of technical know-how between Italy, Tunisia, and Egypt, carried out in collaboration with Elis. In Tunisia, a professional training program has been launched job placement in the Italian railway sector, while in Egypt technical qualification programs have been developed aimed at teachers and students of professional institutes.
