Sergio Marchionne will leave fca in 2019. This was stated on Thursday morning by the president of the automotive group John Elkann, according to whom the Italian-Canadian CEO will do "all of 2018 because he wants to carry on the FCA plan". With these words, Elkann therefore confirmed the statements in this sense already released by Marchionne himself in recent times.
For the succession, Elkann outlines the internal road: "In FCA we have many good people who can succeed him". At the moment, continued the president of FCA, “Marchionne will continue to work with us. He takes care of Ferrari in an extraordinary way and will continue to do so as long as he wants. There are still many things to do together”.
