Four art institutions in Dorsoduro district united again in a partnership to relaunch Dorsoduro Museum Mille which sees the objective of enhancing the district in an architectural, artistic and historical journey and site of contemporary cultural initiatives in that area between the Accademia Bridge and Punta della Dogana.
The program at the same time as the 60th International Art Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia which will soon be inaugurated
- from March 17th to November 24th, Pierre Huyghe. Liminal, at Punta della Dogana and always from 17 March until 6 January 2025, Julie Mehretu. Ensemble at Palazzo Grassi;
- from the 24 March to the 23 June 2024 Elective affinities, Picasso, Matisse, Klee and Giacometti, Works from the Museum Berggruen – Neue Nationalgalerie in dialogue with the masterpieces of the Accademia Galleries, at the Gallerie dell'Accademia and at the Casa dei Tre Oci (the new headquarters of the Berggruen Institute Europe), while from 17 April to 15 September 2024, Willem de Kooning and Italy, also at the Accademia Galleries;
- from April 13th to September 16th Jean Cocteau. The juggler's revenge, to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, which will follow Marina Apollonius. Beyond the circle, from October 12 to March 3, 2025;
- from April 16th to 29th September Martha Jungwirth. Heart of darkness at Palazzo Cini, where it will also open on 28 June Eleonora Duse. Contemporary Myth, until October 13th.
Reductions, joint projects, social campaigns are just some of the activities that characterize the collaboration between the four cultural institutions, sharing the flow of information, devising joint communication actions and confirming the facilitations of entry into the four locations.
In particular, those who purchase a paid ticket in one of the Dorsoduro Museum Mile locations or have the Membership Card of one of the partners are entitled to a reduced ticket in the other institutions of the circuit. The discounted tickets available are €14 to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, €15 to Punta della Dogana (including Palazzo Grassi), €8 to the Palazzo Cini Gallery in San Vio and €12 to the Accademia Galleries. Tickets purchased in this way can be used within seven days.
