Cassa Depositi e Prestiti e Intesa Sanpaolo they announced a new one agreement which provides a financing di one billion euros to support access to credit and growth of microphone, small e medium-sized enterprises Italian. The aim is to stimulate economic development at local and national levels, as well as improve employment levels.
This financing is part of a broader collaboration between the two institutions, launched in 2021, which has already mobilized resources of 3,8 billion euros. Thanks to these funds, over 1.300 companies have been supported and it is expected to help as many companies in the next three years, reaching a total of 2.600 companies.
The billion euros will be used entirely by Intesa Sanpaolo for loans to Italian SMEs and Mid Caps, with amounts up to 25 million of euros per project and one duration up to 18 years. The resources “may be allocated to investments by companies to be made or in progress with a view to strengthening the main national production chains; to expenses for tangible or intangible assets; and working capital needs,” explains a joint note.
