La Bank of Italy put his new website is onlineinstitutional. The portal has been completely redesigned, with the declared aim of improving the user experience, making the contents more usable and simplifying access to the numerous digital services offered. Among the news: podcast “Central” online from June 24th which will host a first series of five episodes dedicated to the institutional functions of the Bank and the new version of the portal “Economy for All” for financial education.
The new Bankitalia website
The new site takes a more user-friendly approach mobile first, in the face of constant growth in access from mobile devices, which today represent more than half of the total. Among the main innovations: a new information structure, more usable interfaces, greater visibility of multimedia content and an enhancement of accessibility standards.
The previous website, designed in 2014, had about one million users per month, over 100 million page views and 2,7 million downloads. Digital services were also widely used: one million requests to the Central Risk Office and 74 thousand reports from the CAI (Interbank Alarm Centre).

The site is already online, with content in Italian e English (useful for the foreign public, which in 2024 generated 50% of accesses) and a simplified use even for non-expert users. The Bank invites citizens and information operators to test e to send suggestions: it is in fact an “evolving” project.
What's New: Podcasts and Financial Education
Among the new tools, a podcast channel, "Central”, dedicated to the dissemination of the functions of the central bank. The episodes will be available starting from Tuesday 24 June. The launch trailer of the “Centrale” series can already be heard today on the new website’s podcast page. In addition to the Bank’s website, the audio content will also be distributed on the main podcast platforms; From the 19 June it will also be online new version of the portal of financial education Economy for all, aimed in particular at the school world and the general public.
