Banco Bpm, agreement with Simest for the growth and digital innovation of SMEs

Bpm bank e Simest, group company Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, have entered into a collaboration agreement to promote and support growth and internationalization strategies of Italian companies. The objective of the agreement is to support companies in accessing subsidized financing provided by Simest under the 394/81 Fund, managed in agreement with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation - Maeci.

Banco Bpm, what does the agreement with Simest provide

These are loans aimed at supporting businesses, especially pmi, in their investments in internationalization e digital innovation e planet; the 6 financing lines have a maximum duration of 6 years, of which 2 are pre-amortization, and it is possible to access, for some types of businesses, a non-repayable contribution of up to 10%.

The 6 lines of financing are aimed at supporting the opening of new commercial structures abroad or the strengthening of existing structures, participation in international fairs and events, the marketing of goods or services produced in Italy or with an Italian brand abroad, investments in digital and ecological transition, the temporary inclusion of specialized professional figures (Temporary Manager) in the company for the launch of internationalization projects and the obtaining of product and sustainability certifications, as well as the use of consultancy for the development of internationalization processes.

Banco Bpm, confirming its attention towards companies, will also offer assistance and consultancy services to facilitate access to Simest benefits in all phases of the benefit procedure and will be able to finance a portion of of the investment program subject to subsidies.
