General Bank presented the strategic guidelines and financial targets for the three-year period 2019-2021 which envisage expected total assets at the end of the period in the range of €76-80 billion, total net inflows greater than or equal to €14,5 billion, core revenues/average assets greater than or equal at 63 bps, core operating costs 3-5% cagr. Furthermore, Banca Generali confirms its dividend policy, with a payout of 70-80% and with a floor in absolute value in line with the 2017 dividend (1,25 euro).

To achieve its financial objectives, Banca Generali's strategy is based on the pursuit of commercial excellence, digital acceleration and targeted international development. In particular, the actions that the institute intends to carry out are: extension of the "private" offer and dissemination of best practices on the network; new digital presence: brand development and new customer-focused services; international partnership with Saxo Bank to expand service and growth opportunities.

The company, on the occasion of the investor day held in London, also communicates that new strategic opportunities on foreign markets will be contemplated in the three-year plan. The binding offer – accepted by the respective counterparties – for the purchase of 90,1% of the Swiss Valeur Finduciaria.

For now, the market is applauding the new plan, given that by mid-morning, in line with the Ftse Mib in clearly positive territory, the Banca Generali share gained almost 4%. above €20 per share.
