General Bank has expanded his offering with BG Exclusive Style a new multi-branch policy single-prize designed for respond to needs increasingly sophisticated customer needs. The new tool, launched this month, stands out for its ability to combine different investment opportunities and with a solid asset protection, enriched by a wide range of personalized services.

A balance between investment and security

At the base of BG Exclusive Style there is a structure that integrates harmoniously three key elements: investments, insurance protection and tailor-made services. The financial heart of the policy is represented by a diversified component that develops on multiple levels. The separate management of Branch I, for example, offers a guaranteed return of 2% net, representing a safe and stable option for those seeking certainty in the long term. Alongside this, there is space for actively managed insurance funds, rely on the bank's internal Asset Management team, an innovation that allows for dynamic management of investments. To complete the picture, a wide selection of over fifty external funds chosen from those with the best performances in recent years, in order to offer the customer maximum freedom in building their own portfolio.

“We have developed a a real savings 'suite', which integrates a range of product and health services capable of making it a truly exclusive product. And we did this starting from the Regulatory changes introduced in 2024 by Ivass on the so-called Mop (multi-option) products, which have encouraged the creation of instruments with defined Target Markets. We have exploited this change to make them an opportunity, designing a complete solution, capable of combining insurance protection and financial planning" explains Andrea Ragani, Deputy Director General of General Bank.

Tailor-made protection for every need

In addition to the financial component, a central role is played by insurance protection, which offers advanced solutions to protect the insured and their heirs. In the event of premature death, the capital can be increased up to 50% of the premium paid, with further increases in the event of an accident. A particularly innovative aspect is the protection that guarantees the maximum value reached to the heirs from the policy portfolio in each calendar year, a mechanism that protects the invested capital and represents an important advantage from a tax point of view.

Protection as a key element of private banking

Attention to financial security is an increasingly relevant issue in private banking. According to a recent research by AIPB-Prometheia, 82% of private clients regularly discuss the topic of asset protection with their advisor, but only 24% feel adequately protected.

“It will be increasingly necessary” – comments Ragaini – “to take into consideration a longer active life and the likely evolution of public welfare and pension spending. The added value of financial advice will come from the ability to combine insurance coverage and long-term financial planning”.
